A Police Officer in Oconto Falls was shot Friday morning.
According to the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office, police were dispatched to a home in the 100 block of Elm Avenue after a series of 911 hang-ups.
The full details of what happened next have not yet been revealed, but we do know that the officer made contact with the caller and was shot once.
At last word, the unnamed officer was in a Green Bay Hospital and is in stable condition.
A 29-year-old woman was arrested on a charge of First-Degree Attempted Homicide.
There is not believed to be any threat to the public as this was an isolated incident.
