A Manitowoc man is facing charges after he allegedly punched his girlfriend.
Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1700 block of Cedar Grove Drive at around 6:30 Saturday evening (August 7th) on a family trouble complaint.
When they arrived they spoke with the victim, who said that she and her boyfriend were at a friend’s home the night before in Francis Creek.
The 27-year-old man became upset with her, and began walking away, but was picked up by the woman and a friend a short time later.
All three then went to their residence in the Cedar Grove Apartments, where an argument ensued.
That is when the man reportedly struck the victim with a closed fist.
The man was arrested on charges of Disorderly Conduct and Battery, each with a Domestic Violence Enhancer, as well as Possession of Methamphetamine, and three counts of Felony Bail Jumping.
