Work is progressing on or slightly ahead of schedule and Vinton Construction is ready to close a new section of Custer Street in Manitowoc.
According to Engineering Division Manager Greg Minikel, Custer St. from South 29th to South 35th St. will be closed to through traffic beginning this morning (August 9th).
The completion date for the entire project is still planned for October 29th.
