A would-be burglar was shot yesterday morning (August 5th) after he entered a home.
Police were informed of an attempted break-in in the 1000 block of Mount Mary Drive at around 4:00 AM, and a second one shortly after at a home a block away on Leverne Drive.
The resident and intruder got into a confrontation, and the intruder was shot.
The 31-year-old man was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries to his upper body.
The Green Bay Police Department is still looking into the situation, as the suspect’s motivations are not clear.
The names of those involved have not yet been released.
