There are a lot of veterans performing well for the San Francisco Giants this season.
That’s why they have the best record in Major League Baseball at 69-and-40.
The Giants visit American Family Field for the first game of a three-game series tonight (August 6th). Corbin Burnes will start for Milwaukee with the first pitch scheduled for 7:10 PM on 107.9 FM WOMT.
The San Francisco lineup features players like 34-year-old shortstop Brandon Crawford who has 18 homers during a bounce-back season.
Another solid performer is 34-year-old catcher Buster Posey, who’s hitting .326.
Third baseman Evan Longoria had an O-P-S of .895 before he went on the injured list.
The pitching is another strong point.
With an earned run average of 3.36, the Giants are third in the National League, right behind the Brewers.
