The Neville Public Museum of Brown County has received the 2021 Museum Exhibit Award from the Wisconsin Historical Society for its renovated “Generations Gallery.”
The exhibit at the museum in Green Bay has artifacts from the Ice Age, WWI, and three centuries of history, while also featuring art, industry, and archeology among others.
In a statement, the leaders of the museum thanked the community for their support, as well as the elected officials, the board, and “the dedicated individuals who provided their personal stories and exhibit content.”
The Historical Society gives two of these awards out each year, one for an exhibition budget of $5,000 or less and one for an exhibition budget greater than $5,000.
