A 19-year-old man is facing charges after he allegedly overdosed in his car while parked at a Kwik Trip in Manitowoc.
Officers were called to the gas station on South 10th Street just before 4:00 AM this morning (August 4th) on a report of a man asleep in his car for over an hour.
The man did not respond to the officer attempting to wake him up, and the officer noticed vomit coming from his mouth.
Knowing these were signs of an overdose, the officer administered an unspecified anti-overdose medication, which woke the man up.
A search of the vehicle uncovered Xanax, and other pills, marijuana, LSD, a 9mm pistol, and several items of drug paraphernalia.
After receiving treatment at Holy Family Memorial Hospital, the man was arrested on charges of Carrying a Concealed Weapon, and Possession of a Schedule Four Drug While Armed, THC, LSD, and Drug Paraphernalia.
