Bowhunting in the city of Manitowoc will be the subject of a pair of meetings at the city police department. The meetings will be held on August 18th at 11:30 AM and 6 PM. Both meetings will cover the same topics.
Those will include the purpose of the hunt, the type of permissions needed, and the rules set by the city to conduct the hunt. Police Lt. Mark Schroeder says applications for hunters and landowners can be obtained and submitted on the city’s website or at the front counter of the Police Department.
All applications need to be returned by September 10th.
