A Manitowoc woman is facing charges after she allegedly ran from, and spit on police officers.
The Manitowoc Police Department dispatched officers to Westfield Bar AT 12:30 Sunday morning (August 1st) to conduct a warrant check.
They located the individual in question and told the 41-year-old woman she had a warrant out for her arrest for Operating After Revocation.
When the officer said she was under arrest, the woman ran.
The officer was quickly able to catch and tackle her.
As she was being placed in the squad car, she turned to the officer, and spit in his face.
Marijuana was also found in her purse, so she has been charged with Possession of THC, Resisting Arrest, and Discharging Bodily Fluids at a Public Safety Worker.
