Another road closure was announced for today in the City of Manitowoc.
Engineering Division Manager Greg Minikel let us know that Custer Street, between Calumet Avenue and South 29th Street, the section right behind Walgreens, will be closed starting today (August 2nd).
The closure is to allow Canadian National Railroad to replace the westerly portion of the railroad crossing.
Access to businesses east of South 29th Street will need to do so from Calumet Avenue, or the east end of South 26th Street.
That project is expected to be completed on or by October 29th.
