A Fond du Lac woman has died after she was struck by a car in the Sheboygan County Town of Greenbush.
The 54-year-old woman was riding her bike east on County Road U Saturday morning (July 31st) at around 10:00 AM, at the same time that a 24-year-old St. Cloud man was driving east.
He told authorities that he had passed another biker a short distance behind the woman, and didn’t see her as he re-merged into his lane of traffic.
He ended up hitting the victim, who died from her injuries.
Names of those involved have not yet been released, and the investigation remains ongoing.
