Former Sun Prairie and Nicolet High School basketball star Jalen Johnson has been taken in the first round of the 2021 N-B-A Draft.
Johnson’s name was called by the Atlanta Hawks when they made the 20th overall pick.
He was named Wisconsin A-P High School Player of the Year during his junior year.
A five-star recruit, Johnson committed to Duke after getting offers from Kentucky, Arizona, and the Badgers.
He played 13 games for the Blue Devils before deciding to sit out the rest of the college basketball season.
