The National Weather Service has confirmed the storms that caused major damage in Wisconsin included four tornadoes.
Those twisters caused damage in Jefferson and Waukesha counties early Thursday morning.
A tornado rated E-F-1 was on the ground for more than 12-and-a-half miles from near Watertown to Dousman after touching down at about 1:15 a-m.
A second E-F-1 tornado traveled two-point-two miles near Dousman.
At about the same time, an E-F-0 tornado touched down briefly southwest of Watertown and an E-F-1 tornado was on the ground for about five minutes starting near Wales and moving to an area southwest of Waukesha.
Government teams will conduct surveys today (July 30th) between Verona and Middleton and between Ripon and Brandon.
Governor Tony Evers issued a State of Emergency order for all of Wisconsin Thursday morning.
