The replacement for former Green Bay Police Chief Andrew Smith has been named.
Christopher Davis will take over the role, coming into Green Bay from his current role as the Deputy Chief in Portland.
The Green Bay Police and Fire Commission says that Davis has been on the force for 27-years, 22 of which were with the Portland Police Department.
Davis has been looking for a new job in Wisconsin for quite some time, as he was also considered for the Madison and Milwaukee Police Chief positions over the past year.
It was not stated when his first day on the job will be.
