A woman is dead and four others were injured as a result of a crash in Brown County yesterday afternoon (July 28th).
According to authorities, a 19-year-old Denmark man was driving north on County Highway R (Main Street) in the Town of New Denmark at around 1:45 PM, when he attempted to turn left on Pine Grove Road. His truck ended up colliding with another vehicle, which was traveling south on Highway R.
The 19-year-old and his 18-year-old passenger were taken to a Green Bay hospital with minor injuries.
In the other vehicle, a 33-year-old Green Bay area woman died at the scene, while the 38-year-old male driver was treated at a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, and a six-year-old child was airlifted to a Green Bay hospital, also with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
No names have been released, and alcohol does NOT appear to have been a factor.
