A suspect in a double stabbing Appleton earlier this year has been ordered to stand trial.
30-year-old Cornelius C. Pearson has been charged with two counts of Attempted 1st Degree Intentional Homicide, and one count each of Armed Robbery, Burglary while Armed with a Dangerous Weapon, and Felony Bail Jumping for the March 18th incident.
Pearson had reportedly entered the victim’s home under the pretense of charging his phone.
He then made comments about all the nice things they had before attacking a man in the home.
He then reportedly stabbed the man, and slashed his throat before attacking a woman in the home as well. He then took some items and fled.
Pearson was found the next day and arrested.
His arraignment hearing is scheduled for September 10th.
