After almost three weeks, Washington Street in Manitowoc has reopened with a new, smoother look. The project included resurfacing a small section of the busy road that was in rough shape.
Just as that project comes to a close, another busy section of road in Manitowoc just started with construction. Calumet Avenue is down to one-lane traffic each way while construction continues on the railroad crossing near Little Caeser’s.
