Those driving on I-43 in Manitowoc County will start to see single-lane closures on some bridges today.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is letting motorists know that a total of 19 bridges will have the thin polymer overlay installed on them.
Six of the bridges in question are located between Westview Road and County U in the Cleveland area, seven bridges are between County CL and U.S. 10 near Manitowoc and six bridges are between County V and the Devils River near Kellnersville.
The Interstate will never be fully closed during the project, but there will likely be single lane closures at each bridge when the overly is being installed.
The project is expected to be completed on or by August 20th.
