An estimated 8.7% fewer homes were sold in Manitowoc County last month than there were in June of 2020.
According to statistics released by the Wisconsin Realtors Association, 116 homes were sold in June, compared to 127 during the same time span last year, however, the average price of the homes sold went up pretty significantly.
Last month, each home averaged a price of $171,250, which is a 33% jump from last year’s average price of $128,800.
The homes also spent roughly 60 days on the market, which is 35 days shorter than in June of 2020.
Statewide, there was very little change in the number of sales, with only four fewer homes being sold, however, the average price of those homes was $257,000 a jump of $34,000, and spent an average of 70 days on the market, 16 days shorter than in 2020.
