A brand new wellness center for veterans has opened its doors in Appleton.
Named after a recently deceased World War II army pilot, the Oscar C. Boldt Wellness Center is located in the Wisconsin Veterans Village and is being run by Oscar’s son Tom, who is the CEO of The Boldt Company.
According to their website, the Wisconsin Veteran Village is an area of Appleton created by The Boldt Company that includes “apartments at a reasonable rent, community support, and a community to veterans throughout their lifespan, as they live preferably among fellow veterans in a veteran-centric culture.”
All 35 residents of the village are able to utilize the fitness center, which includes exercise equipment, a weight room, and other wellness options.
