Local YMCAs are a source of a lot of good in their respective communities, and thanks to an Egg Harbor couple, the Door County YMCA is able to do so much more.
It was announced earlier this week that Glenn and Barb Timmerman donated a whopping $1 million to the Y, which has locations in Sturgeon Bay and Fish Creek.
Executives at the Door County YMCA have stated that money will go toward helping youth and adults in their community alike for generations to come.
