A child was out riding a moped yesterday afternoon (July 19th) in Brown County when he was struck by a pickup truck.
The incident occurred on Quarry Drive in Pittsfield, near the Mountain Bay Trail, at about 1:30 PM.
The Brown County Sheriff’s Office is still looking into the details of the crash, but we do know that the 12-year-old child was airlifted to a hospital and is expected to recover from their injuries.
