There are a pair of meetings scheduled for this evening in Two Rivers.
First up is the Public Works Committee, which will hold a special meeting at 5:00 PM in the Third Floor Committee Room in City Hall.
In that meeting, the Committee will discuss a question posed by a property owner regarding the 25th Street project, and a request from a citizen to limit parking on Forest Avenue near the intersection with 24th Street.
Then at 6:00 PM, the City Council will gather for their regular meeting.
City Manager Greg Buckley will talk about the local impacts on the major storm that ripped through the area last week, the progress of the 24th and 25th/Madison Street projects, and the fundraising for the Police Department’s K-9 program.
The Council will also enter a closed session to discuss possible city assistance to some unspecified economic development projects, a property sale at the Woodland Industrial Park, and the option to purchase agreement with Aim Manitowoc for the former Paragon Partners property.
