For the second time this week, the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department was involved in a high-speed chase.
The most recent one occurred at around 3:00 Wednesday morning (July 14th), after deputies attempted to pull over a vehicle on Highway 23 near County Road O.
The yet unnamed male driver from Fond du Lac fled from the deputies, who ended up using spike strips to deflate the tires on the car near County Road P.
The driver continued to drive, making it to Ridge Road before coming to a stop.
The vehicle was actually stolen, and the man, who did not have a valid driver’s license, was found to be in possession of marijuana.
He was arrested on charges of Fleeing, Bail Jumping, Possession of THC, Operating Without a License, and Operating a Vehicle Without the Owner’s Consent.
