A day after the Green Bay Booyah defeated the Great Lakes West-leading Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 4-2, the team from Fondy got their revenge, toppling the Booyah 7-6 in 10 innings.
The Dock Spiders jumped to a 5-2 lead in the 4th inning, but a big four-run 7th put the Booyah in front, which they carried to the bottom of the 9th.
However, the Dock Spiders scored, tying up the game, and scored again in walk-off fashion in the 10th, earning their 28th win of the year.
It was another game of small ball, as no-hitter got better than a double, with each team hitting two of them.
Ryan Kutt picked up the win in relief, while Kyle Coates was tagged with the loss.
The Booyah don’t have any time to sulk, however, as they are back in action this afternoon against the Wisconsin Woodchucks.
First pitch at Athletic Park in Wausau is scheduled for 12:05 PM.
