There are a pair of meetings on the docket for this evening in the City of Manitowoc.
First up will be the Police and Fire Commission, who will gather in the Public Safety Building at 4:30 PM.
After the public is allotted time to voice their comments, the Commission will receive the monthly reports from the Police and Fire Departments, and the Division of Life Safety, before seeking approval to begin an external search for an Assistant Fire Chief.
Then at 5:30 PM, the Finance Committee will occupy the Council Chambers in City Hall.
They will look over their internal controls report for the 2nd Quarter and request to create a new section of the Municipal Code related to public murals.
Then, in a closed session, the Committee will look over the term sheet for the River North Apartment building, located at 1000 River Point Drive.
