Two people had to be taken to a local hospital after being thrown from their motorcycle late last week while on I-41.
The crash reportedly occurred north of Highway 172 Friday morning (July 9th), and saw the motorcycle, carrying two people, slam into the back of a minivan as it was changing lanes.
Both occupants of the bike were thrown from it and were transported to local hospitals for treatment of unspecified injuries.
It does not appear as though anyone in the minivan was injured in the accident.
The status of the injured individuals is not known at this time.
Traffic was backed up around the crash site for several hours as crews tended to those involved and cleaned up.
