Future Hall of Fame point guard Chris Paul did most of the damage in a third-period rally when the Phoenix Suns roared past Milwaukee Tuesday night 118-107.
Paul scored 16 of his game-high 32 points as the Suns blew open what had been an evenly-matched N-B-A Championship series opener.
Giannis Antetokounmpo returned to the Bucks lineup to score 20 points and grab 17 rebounds. Khris Middleton had 29, but Milwaukee point guard Jrue Holiday only scored 10 on four-of-14 shooting.
The 36-year-old Paul also had nine assists.
A putback by Antetokounmpo cut the Phoenix lead to seven, 101-94, with a little over seven minutes left in the game.
Milwaukee never got closer.
Game 2 is set for Thursday night in Phoenix.
