
Three people were arrested in Manitowoc on Friday after police pulled their vehicle over for the driver not wearing a seatbelt.
Officers were monitoring a known drug house in the 900 block of South 19th Street, and one officer began following a vehicle that left the residence. The officer noticed that the driver was not wearing a seatbelt and pulled the vehicle over.
The driver openly admitted to driving without a license, and was found to be on probation, he and a woman in the car were placed in handcuffs on charges of Bail Jumping, as they were not allowed to have contact with each other.
A knife was seen in the vehicle, and another occupant of the vehicle was a known felon, so he was also arrested.
Officers then found Methamphetamine in the vehicle, as well as drug paraphernalia.
All three were arrested on charges of being a Felon in Possession of a Knife, while the 24-year-old male driver and 27-year old female passenger were charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Drug Paraphernalia and Bail Jumping.
