Charges have been filed against a 34-year-old Manitowoc woman after an argument over pornography turned physical.
Officers were dispatched to a home in the 1900 block of Western Avenue just before 5:00 PM on Friday (July 2nd) after a caller reported what sounded like two people fighting.
Officers entered the home with Tasers drawn and separated the two people involved.
The male told the officers that he and his girlfriend had gotten into an argument about him watching porn, and he wanted to leave to cool down. He claimed the woman wrestled him to the ground multiple times, keeping him from leaving.
The woman admitted to the same, and to slapping the man, whom both said didn’t strike the woman at all.
The woman was arrested on charges of Disorderly Conduct and False Imprisonment, both with Domestic Violence enhancers.
