
Five people are being charged in a human trafficking operation uncovered by the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s office. Captain Matthew Spence says two of the suspects are from Sheboygan County and the other three from adjacent counties.
Spence said the investigation used popular online websites that have been generated for the purpose of arranging sexual encounters in exchange for money. The investigation so far has produced four charges of pandering and soliciting and one count of solicitation of prostitution.
Also involved in the investigation were the state department of Justice, Plymouth police, Kohler police, Sheboygan Falls police, Elkhart Lake police, Sheboygan police, the State Patrol, and the District Attorney’s office.
