A DNR Warden in Thiensville is being praised as a hero as he was able to save a 15-year-old Manitowoc boy who was swimming in the Milwaukee River on Wednesday (June 30th).
The unnamed teen was reportedly visiting his family in Thiensville and brought a friend along.
The boys jumped in the river and planned on swimming across to join hundreds of others who were waiting for some music to begin.
Halfway across, the teen cramped up and began to struggle.
DNR Warden Tony Young spotted the teen and was caught on video bringing a boat out to the boy and bringing him back to shore.
