For the second time in four days, an individual was bitten by a dog in Manitowoc, and the police are trying to find the owner of the canine involved.
According to Captain Jeremy Kronforst with the Manitowoc Police Department, a man was jogging on the Schuette Park Ice Age Trail at around 2:30 PM yesterday (June 28th) when he approached two women in their 50s or 60s walking several dogs.
One of the canines, a white poodle, bit the jogger. The Police Department is looking for the owner of the poodle so they can check its vaccination records.
If you know who the owner of the dog is, you are encouraged to contact the Manitowoc Police Department at 920-686-6550, or Crime Stoppers at 920-683-4466.
