The Door County Sheriff’s Office has identified a weekend drowning victim.
Chief Deputy Patrick McCarty said in a news release Monday that the victim is positively identified as 24-year-old Yeltsin C. Jean-Pierre of Madison.
Jean-Pierre’s body was recovered Saturday from Clark Lake in the Town of Sevastopol.
McCarty stated foul play is not suspected and the death appears to be an accidental drowning.
An autopsy was conducted by the Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office on Sunday, but a final report is not expected to be available for at least 6-weeks.
