The Manitowoc Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating the owner of a dog that was involved in a biting incident on Friday (June 25th).
A 21-year-old man was bitten on his face by the black Labrador or Rottweiler while at Indian Creek Park at around 5:30 PM.
The victim was at the Dog Park Area in the park with his own dog, when the two were approached by the attacking dog. The victim bent over to pet the dog, when it jumped onto his chest, and bit his face.
The man did not see where the dog went and reported the incident to the police after receiving medical treatment.
