A Manitowoc man has been arrested after he reportedly threatened his roommate with a hammer and a knife and destroyed a computer monitor.
Officers with the Manitowoc Police Department were dispatched to a home in the 3500 block of Wildwood Drive at 7:30 PM on Thursday to investigate the call.
The victim told authorities that the suspect had been living with him for a month or so due to not having any other place to stay.
When the officers entered the residence, they found the man holding a three-inch knife, which he dropped after being prompted to.
He was reportedly heavily intoxicated and was combative with EMS personnel who were going to take him to the hospital.
He also reportedly told an officer that he was going to die “soon.”
The 33-year-old suspect was charged with Disorderly Conduct, and Criminal Damage to Property, each with a Domestic Violence Order.
