A De Pere man who reportedly was involved in a traffic crash that injured a 20-year-old woman last year has been sentenced.
33-year-old Adam Robert Jahnke was found guilty due to a no-contest plea on charges of 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety and Hit and Run Causing Injury, and Judge Robert Dewane sentenced him to 30 days in jail, followed by two years’ probation.
Jahnke was reportedly racing with 29-year-old Jesse R. Kenwabikise on Rapids Road on July 13th, 2020, when he lost control of his vehicle, and struck Kenwabikise’s car.
He then slammed into an SUV being driven by a 20-year-old woman who suffered an unspecified injury.
Jahnke will also have to maintain absolute sobriety and submit to random urine screens.
