
There are a pair of meetings on the docket in Manitowoc this evening.
First up will BE the Committee of the Whole, who will occupy the Council Chambers at 5:00 PM, where Mayor Justin Nickels will lead a discussion regarding the proposal to revert 8th, 10th, and a portion of 11th Streets back to two way traffic.
The Committee will also discuss in both open and a closed session the Manitowoc Public Utilities coal pile, and the potential sale of some city-owned property in the 4200 block of Calumet Avenue.
Then, at 7:00 PM, the City Council will take over in the Council Chambers. The Council will hold several public hearings.
They will also discuss the possible purchase of a plot of land to expand the I-TECH Industrial Park, and the use of $85,000 to repair the Magnolia Avenue wall.
