There are a handful of track and field athletes at Manitowoc Lincoln that punched their tickets to the State meet next week.
According to Dave Steavpack, the Athletic Director at Lincoln, Marlon Stewart was the Sectional Meet Champion in the High Jump yesterday, while Lauren Borchardt finished well enough in the 100 Meter hurdles to advance.
On the boy’s team, the 4 X 800-meter relay will also be competing at state. That relay consists of Max Bailey, Sam Jacobsen, Zach Bergner, Mason Gates, Zach Merten.
The WIAA State Track Championships will be held Thursday-Saturday, June 24-26, at UW-La Crosse.
