Nominations for this year’s Farm Service Agency (FSA) County Committee Elections in Manitowoc, Sheboygan, and Calumet Counties are needed by August 2nd.
County Committees are a vital link between the farm community and FSA as they provide an opportunity for farmers to have their opinions and ideas be heard.
To be eligible to serve on an FSA County Committee, a person must participate or cooperate in any program administered by FSA, they must be eligible to vote in the election and they must reside in one of the townships in which the election is occurring.
Nomination forms are available at FSA offices and online at fsa.usda.gov/elections along with other important election information.
