The Manitowoc Public School District has three meetings scheduled for this afternoon at their officers on Lindbergh Drive.
First up is the Finance and Budget Committee, who will convene at 2:30 PM to go over budget adjustments and the bus/pupil transportation contract.
Then at 3:00 PM, the Board of Education will gather for a special meeting in a closed session. In that session, they will conduct a hearing on an expulsion recommendation. It was not stated explicitly what the unnamed student did bring forth the recommendation.
And then at 5:30 PM, the Curriculum Committee will have their meeting. They will get an update on achievement gap reduction, and teaching, learning, and assessment commitments for 2021 and 2022.
Also on their agenda is an informational session regarding the summer 2021 student learning office professional development catalog.
