It looked like the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers were going to pick up a road victory over the Quad Cities River Bandits, but couldn’t close it out.
The Rattlers brought a three-run lead into the bottom of the 8th inning, where they gave up 5 runs, and couldn’t produce any runs of their own in the 9th.
All three Timber Rattler runs came in the 3rd inning thanks to a bases-loaded sacrifice fly by Gabriel Garcia and a two-RBI single by Thomas Dillard.
Nash Walters took the loss for Appleton based Northwoods League baseball team, who will have a chance at redemption tonight.
Justin Bullock will get the start, with first pitch in Davenport Iowa scheduled for 6:30 PM.
