The Reedsville Boys Baseball team used a big sixth inning to defeat the visiting Marion Mustangs 4-2.
The Panthers took a one-run lead in the 3rd, and the Mustangs responded in the 5th with one of their own. Then, the Panthers brought three runners across home plate in the 6th, taking a 4-1 lead into the final frame. Marion was able to produce one run, but that was it.
Starting pitcher Cole Yohanek went four innings for the Panthers, while Korstad went the final three innings picking up the win in relief.
Westen Liebziet had two hits, while Blake Delsman, Cole Delsman, and Brennan Hynek each recorded RBIs.
The Panthers will next take on the top-seeded Shiocton Chiefs.
