Eight Green Bay residents are without a home today after a fire in a three-family home last night (June 15th).
The call reporting the fire in the 900 block of Day Street came into the Green Bay Metro Fire Department just before 9:00 PM.
Crews arrived on the scene to find heavy smoke and flames emitting from a window on the second floor.
The fire was quickly extinguished, and the damage was limited to the second floor.
The eight residents of the building are being aided by the American Red Cross as crews continue their investigation.
The fire was estimated to cause roughly $75,000 in damage, but there were no injuries reported.
