A Green Bay man has pleaded not guilty to charges he is facing in connection to a 2020 overdose death in Appleton.
33-year-old Alex Kotecki is believed to have delivered the drugs to 28-year-old Kolin Hughes that caused his death.
Kotecki has been charged with First Degree Reckless Homicide/Deliver Drugs.
Judge Emily Lonergan also reduced Kotecki’s bond from $200,000 down to $50,000 after Kotecki’s attorney noted that he had been let out during active drug cases in the past.
Kotecki was arrested after text messages between him and Hughes were found where the drug deal was discussed.
