A 62-year-old Appleton man who was convicted for the death of his girlfriend was sentenced to life in prison with out the possibility of parole.
Johnny Scott entered a plea of guilty due to no contest back in April on a charge of First-Degree Intentional Homicide, while two other counts were dismissed.
It was determined that Scott shot and killed Annie Ford after an argument over $800 and a television.
Ford was shot four times, after which Scott reportedly pointed the weapon at Ford’s 15-year-old son.
Scott’s defense team requested that he be eligible for parole after 20 years, but that request was denied by Judge Gregory Gill.
