The Manitowoc Lincoln Girls Softball team is moving on in the WIAA Sectional Tournament.
The Ships defeated the Sheboygan North Vikings yesterday (June 14th) by a score of 9-2.
The game-winning run was brought in by Lizzy Stuebs, who brought home Delaney Granger in the 3rd inning.
Both batters hit triples to give the Ships a lead they would never lose.
Granger also had two more singles in the match-up and a stolen base, while Stuebs drove in two more runs in the sixth, with a single to right field.
The Ships Girls will be back in action tomorrow when they take on the top-seeded Oshkosh West Wildcats
