The Manitowoc Lutheran Girls Softball team saw their season come to an end yesterday, as they fell in the second round of the WIAA Sectional Tournament to Random Lake 13-4.
Things looked good for the Lancers as Jenna Lischka drove in 2 with her third homer of the season in the 1st inning.
Alyana Engelbracht drove in a third run for the Lancers in that inning, before they gave up five in the bottom half.
The Rams added another run in the second, two more in the fifth, and five in the sixth to secure the win.
The Lancers drove in one more in the top of the 5th, but it was not enough.
Aubry Schleis took the loss, pitching over 5 innings, allowing 10 runs, and four hits, while striking out 3 and walking 10.
Lutheran ends their season with a record of 10-7.
