A home in Appleton caught fire over the weekend.
According to the Appleton Fire Department, crews were dispatched to the 1300 block of West Laurence Street just after 2:30 AM on Saturday morning (June 12th) to tend to the fire, which was reported to be on a second-floor balcony.
Everyone inside was able to escape without injury, as crews took down the blaze in short order.
Smoke and water damage was reported in the home, however, the fire was contained to only the exterior. It is not known yet what caused the fire, or what the damage cost estimate is.
The Appleton Police Department also aided on the scene with the extraction of the residents.
