A Manitowoc teen is facing a litany of charges after he reportedly stole a firearm and attacked a bartender with a skateboard.
Officers were informed of the theft on May 19th, and figured out who stole it early last week.
Officers were called to the 10th Street Pub, located at 1202 South 10th Street on May 31st on a report of a disturbance.
We previously reported that 18-year-old Joshua Gandzinski-Smith attempted to trade THC dabs for beer at the bar, but now we have learned of the second arrest.
The two teens reportedly started arguing with the female bartender, who denied the teens service, and the 17-year-old threatened to shoot the woman while calling her obscenities. He then struck her with his skateboard. The teen also smashed a window on the east side of the building with his skateboard before fleeing the scene.
While fleeing, the suspect fell, and the handgun that was previously reported as stolen was found on the ground.
The teen was interviewed on Monday (June 7th) and admitted to taking the gun, and attacking the bartender.
He is now facing charges of Theft of a Firearm, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon by a Person Under 18 Years of Age, Criminal Damage to Property, Disorderly Conduct, and Alteration of Property Identification Marks, as he had attempted to scratch off the serial number of the weapon.
